It’s after thanksgiving and I am back to my Intermittent Fasting lifestyle.

I know a lot of people would continue even on holidays but I treat it like a feasting period. Now I can do intermittent Fasting and maintain my weight and then try for a few more pounds lost.

Before I heard a few people use the term fasting and feasting so I thought that thanksgiving is a good day for a feast. Honestly I didn’t gain any weight from it but I can tell that my energy went completely to digestion and I’m tired a little more. I’m sure that that feeling will be gone soon and I will have my old energy back.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I did a 7 day fast and broke my fast the other day. It’s such a wonderful thing to be able to have a huge feast today. I will probably have to do a 3 day Fast just to recover from all the junk I might add during the day but it’s thanksgiving. I think that I love thanksgiving because it’s always been right after my birthday. I have been blessed this year in so many ways. I hope that everyone who reads this can be blessed and your lives will be full.

I started investing in crypto currency lately and it is starting to show great results. Soon I will start to display some of my favorite currencies and strategies to you. I only bring that up because I’m also grateful I found out about it in it’s infancy.

Enough about that though, I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m thankful for you and your support. Have a wonderful thanksgiving day and also an early Merry Christmas shout out. I don’t necessarily understand the Black Friday thing but to anyone crazy enough to go shopping tomorrow, I hope you stay safe and remember no gift is worth breaking the law and fighting over. Stay safe and to anyone who is Of other faiths and don’t celebrate Christmas, I want to say that God be with you and I hope this season is good for you too.

A great assistance to fasting.

I usually add a zero calorie lemon flavor to my water and recently I started to add cayenne pepper to my water. It’s dramatically improved my fast experience. It makes things easier. There are lots of suggested health benefits to having cayenne pepper to your diet.

Blood pressure help

Chronic pain

Detoxification

And many other things.

I am not a doctor but I have noticed a difference in my experience using it more regularly.

If anyone has a great suggestions for use of cayenne pepper or any family recipe that would be great.

Intermittent Fasting

I am currently doing a 23/1 Fasting window. It’s been great. On the weekends I’ve been doing the 20/4 though. I have been losing on an average of 1/2 a pound a day. I’ve also learned that even if your weight fluctuates it’s good to keep track of your fat content.

Have a great day, I still have about 6 hours till dinner time.

I’m not directly affiliated with the YouTuber but I’m just sharing this video because his videos have been helpful to me.

I know it’s unusual to think about but.

I love food and that’s why I do Intermittent Fasting. I choose this lifestyle because I get to choose to fast longer if I know I’m going to eat out and enjoy a big meal with family and friends.

I get to enjoy steak and other meals like pizza. I usually try to stay away from pasta, breads and grains while I’m trying to keep the weight down but like I said I love food. And occasionally I get to enjoy a good meal.

 

I found that because I fast consistently I can eat some of these foods on special occasions and I don’t gain weight back. Now I’m not saying that I do this every day or week but I am human and well food is something that we all love and especially we socialize when eating.

I honestly don’t crave these foods all the time but it’s nice to know that if I want to it’s not a big deal.

One thing that I am happy about is I don’t have acid reflux anymore. After I lost the first 10 pounds I didn’t have the problem anymore.

My experiences have shown me that it’s very beneficial for me and I am much healthier. I always listen to my body and I never do anything that gets me out of sinc with it.

When I first started I started with the 18/6 schedule. I felt comfortable so I switched to 20/4 schedule and I started to shed weight like crazy. I was getting ready to go on a big hike with my son and I needed to lose as much as possible before I went so I did a 5 day water fast. It wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. Before I went on the hike I lost a total of 30 pounds. After the hike I lost about 15 more pounds. Which is almost 45 pounds. I’m trying to drop a little more weight because I still have to much fat percentage so I’m pushing hard this week. I have been just going with 1 meal per day this week and it’s working great. My meal is a little bigger than my usual meal but it feels great. So far this week I dropped about 4 pounds. It does fluctuate because I drink lots of water. But I’m positive that I will be able to get to my goal body fat mass.
